Cricket Canada Suspends Alberta Cricket Association Membership

Toronto, Canada — Cricket Canada has suspended the membership of the Alberta Cricket Association (ACA) following a governance review and a duly passed internal motion. The review identified breaches of Cricket Canada’s Code of Conduct related to retaliatory communications, unprofessional conduct, confidentiality violations, and exclusionary membership practices.

Effective immediately, ACA is not in good standing, resulting in the loss of voting rights and ineligibility for Cricket Canada–sanctioned events and programs. Individual players and officials remain eligible to participate.

Reinstatement is subject to the submission of required governance documentation and a formal undertaking to comply with Cricket Canada’s Bylaws and Code of Conduct within 90 days.
