By virtue of winning all 3 games comfortably against Canada, Canada A & Toronto Bears, West Indies-B team was the most deserving team to be crowned Champions of Cricket Canada’s Cricket-Fest 2018.
In the last round-robin game against the Bears, West Indies-B won the toss and elected to bowl first. Their decision turned out right, as Toronto bears could only manage to set a score of 120 runs with loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. Crandon, scored 47 from 42 balls, but the total was not enough. Sheno Berridge, Kyle Mayers and Justin Greaves from Windies-B, all taking 2 wickets each, kept Bears in check with wickets at regular intervals, thereby restricting them to a small target.
Coming into bat the score of 124 was easily chased by Windies-B in 10.3 overs.
