NOTICE OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Corporation shall be held
on May 10 & 11th 2025, at: DELTA BY MARRIOTT MONTREAL
Details
The meeting will be conducted in accordance with the procedures set out in the most upto-date version of the by-laws.
Reports
You are requested to submit your Annual/Provincial reports to the Secretary and a
copy to all Directors, no later than May 2, 2025 to allow reasonable time for
preparation for the meeting.
REQUEST MUST BE STRICTLY ADHERED TO. Late submissions will not be
distributed.
Cricket Canada may send out certain reports for approval by circular motions for
approval. All members will have the right to seek discussion in the AGM if they so
desire, therefore the resolutions shall facilitate the option to seek discussion in the AGM.
Any agenda item that’s approved in the circular motion shall be deleted from the agenda
in order to facilitate an efficient and shorter AGM.
Delegates/Representative
Provinces to be represented by an alternate delegate must provide the information of their
alternate delegate on a Provincial letterhead signed by the President/Secretary and should
reach the General Secretary of Cricket Canada by 2nd May 2025.
Voting Privileges:
Members will be entitled to appoint a Delegate who may attend meetings of
members and entitled to the following number of votes.
3.14.1 The number of votes allocated to each member at General Meetings is based
on the member’s submission of the number of teams in the preceding outdoor
season.
3.14.2 Submissions of team numbers must be received at the Cricket Canada office
by December 31st of the preceding year.
3.14.3 Submissions must be in electronic form and contain the full name and league
affiliation of each team and the total number of matches played.
Nominations
The By-Laws necessitate a nomination and election process; a separate document titled
“Election/Nomination process” outlining the procedures, is attached to this notice.
Agenda
The agenda and further details of the meeting are outlined on the document titled “AGM
Agenda”, which is attached to and forms part of this notice.
