Canada Clinches Berth at the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in India & Sri Lanka
TORONTO, ON — June 26, 2025 — Cricket Canada is thrilled to announce that the Men’s National Team
has qualified for the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, to be co-hosted by cricket powerhouses India and
Sri Lanka. After an undefeated campaign at the ICC Americas Regional Qualifier, Canada has secured its
place among the world’s elite T20 teams.
This milestone represents a defining moment in Canadian cricket history. The team’s remarkable display
of skill, teamwork, and tenacity throughout the qualifier energized fans across the country and
showcased the immense talent emerging from Canadian cricket programs. It also sends a strong
