Cricket Canada to Host U19 Girls’ Americas World Cup Qualifiers in 2026

Toronto, ON – [Nov 20, 2025] – Cricket Canada is thrilled to announce that Canada will host the ICC U19 Girls’ Americas Region World Cup Qualifiers in 2026, a landmark event for women’s cricket both in the country and across the region. The tournament will be held from August 7–17 and will bring together the brightest young talent from the Americas, offering them a stage to compete for a coveted spot in the ICC U19 Women’s World Cup.

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Corporation shall be held
on May 10 & 11th 2025, at: DELTA BY MARRIOTT MONTREAL

Details
The meeting will be conducted in accordance with the procedures set out in the most upto-date version of the by-laws.

Reports
You are requested to submit your Annual/Provincial reports to the Secretary and a
copy to all Directors, no later than May 2, 2025 to allow reasonable time for
preparation for the meeting.

REQUEST MUST BE STRICTLY ADHERED TO. Late submissions will not be
distributed.

Cricket Canada may send out certain reports for approval by circular motions for
approval. All members will have the right to seek discussion in the AGM if they so
desire, therefore the resolutions shall facilitate the option to seek discussion in the AGM.

Any agenda item that’s approved in the circular motion shall be deleted from the agenda
in order to facilitate an efficient and shorter AGM.

Men’s National Head Coach

Cricket Canada (CC) is the body responsible for the administration and control of cricket in Canada. An Associate member of the International Cricket Council (“ICC”), Canada. It is a non-profit National corporation incorporated under Not-for-Profit Act, and headquartered in the Toronto. Canada

CC requires the services of a suitably qualified and experienced coach to provide coaching services in respect of the national men’s team.

Key Selection Criteria:

Have a proven record of on-field personal success especially with development teams
Display an in-depth knowledge of the game.
Possess leadership qualities, to be able to lead by example and set strong training standards.
Minimum of Level 3 Coaching Certificate or its equivalent complemented with 5 years minimum proven coaching experience.
Have experience in assisting in the development of younger players.
Excellent Communication and People Management Skills.
Proven ability to effectively work with a wide range of individuals from varied backgrounds.
Strong planning, organizing and executing skills.
A comprehensive working knowledge of current cricket coaching techniques.
Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite) and Coaching Software.
Highly motivated and driven to achieve team success and maintain strong team culture.
Experience with a Test playing nation or first-class system would be an advantage.
A deep understanding of the challenges facing Associate Member cricket and/or the development of cricket in Canada.
