Canada beat Cayman Islands to set up decider with USA

Canada continues its quest to qualify for the U19 World Cup with a big win over the Cayman Islands today. Canada are 3 and 0 following one sided wins over Bermuda and Argentina. Canada had Thursday off, as the USA beat Argentina for their third win of the tournament, and the Cayman Islands lost to Bermuda. A win today for Canada has set up a match with the USA on Sunday to decide the tournament winners.

Canada batted first for the first time in the tournament and took full advantage of some loose Caymans bowling, posting a massive 441/5  total. Two Canadians made centuries (pictured above), Eshan Sensarma with 105, and Ashton Deosammy with 155 from just 104 balls. The Caymans managed just 50 in reply, no batsman making double figures and Deosammy capped a memorable day by taking 3 wickets for 2 runs to secure a 391 run win.

Today's game was live streamed on CricClubs.
